Second Chance Kitty is a small, foster based non-profit organization located in the San Joaquin Valley dedicated to assisting cats, kittens and an occasional dog, escape a life of abandonment, neglect and abuse.

Second Chance Kitty believes every animal deserves a quality life… we have many loving animals who need a second, third, or sometimes a fourth chance at a loving forever home. We stress the word forever, because too often animals, especially cats, are forgotten, left behind and abandoned.   We are looking for adopters who care as much as we do and who understand the responsibility and commitment required when adopting a pet.

All of Second Chance Kitty animals are rescues of some sort. Whether they were pulled from an animal shelter to avoid euthanasia, rescued as kittens born to a community or feral cat, surrendered by an owner, seeking refuge from an abuser, or rescued off the street, they have all been helpless and in need. Our animals each have a unique story to tell, a lifetime of love to give, and a God-given right to live in safety, love and free of fear or harm. We strive to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets, as well as “community” cats they may feed.  Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) is an important part of our organization’s efforts in and out of our community.
